Date: Wednesday, 03/06/2026

Alhamdulillah, the sewing training program at Ummu Dhardha Ladies’ Islamic College was successfully inaugurated today.

The event was presided over by the College Principal, Dr. M.I.M. Siddeek (Azhari). Mr. A.K. Ahamad Rifkan, Treasurer of the College Board of Governors and Owner of Razpas, attended as the Chief Guest. Mr. Freed (Tailor) participated as the instructor. College teachers and students also attended the event and graced the occasion.

The objective of this training program is to develop vocational skills among students and create self-employment opportunities, enabling them to achieve economic self-reliance in the future. It also serves as an initiative to cultivate noble qualities such as hard work, honesty, responsibility, and community service, in line with Islamic teachings.

Plans are in place to continue this initiative and expand it in the future so that more women can benefit.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Uwais and his team, along with all supporters, for their contributions in making this program a successful launch.
