Appreciation Ceremony and Opening of New Modern Classroom Successfully Held at Ummu Dhardha Ladies’ Islamic College

An Appreciation Ceremony for the students who successfully completed the Shariah Course at Ummu Dhardha Ladies’ Islamic College, located in Meera Nagar, Akkaraipattu, was held on Sunday, 15 February 2025, after the Asr prayer at the college auditorium. On the same occasion, the newly constructed Technology Learning Classroom of the college was also ceremonially opened.

This classroom was fully established through the generous donation of Mr. Ahmed Rifkhan.

The event was held under the patronage of the College Principal, Dr. M.I.M. Siddeek (Ashhari).

The Honourable Mayor of Akkaraipattu Municipal Council, Al-Haj A.L.M. Athavullah, attended the event as the Chief Guest. Members of the Municipal Council, members of the College Board of Management, respected Ulama, mosque administrators, educators, well-wishers, donors, as well as the parents and relatives of the students also attended the event and made the ceremony memorable.

This event marked an important milestone in the educational and institutional development of Ummu Dhardha Ladies’ Islamic College, reflecting the college’s continued commitment to providing both Islamic religious education and modern educational advancement.
